This time, a more detailed changelog update in which we take you along the different new features our team has recently released around first-party tracking & attribution.

In recent months, Eyk has reached a new maturity level as tracking & analytics platform for modern e-commerce brands.
We have solved the challenge of delivering meaningful attribution insight while staying true to our vision of giving full data control to our users.

How? By integrating best-in-class server-side tracking in Google Tag Manager, with our Bigquery based analytics platform.
And we did not do this alone. We partnered with Stape, the leading provider of server container hosting and software in the world, to offer a true 10x solution to our users.

Easy setup, running in your own Google Tag Manager

Setting up high quality tracking in Google Tag Manager is often a process that requires technical skills and expertise. Not anymore.

The Eyk tracking setup flow makes it easy and quick to deploy high quality tracking templates for Shopify, Magento and Woocommerce in your Google Tag Manager. Additionally, the flow will walk you through the steps to integrate the tracking setup in your DNS settings and implement UTM paramaters in your ad channels. Despite the flow being as easy and smooth as possible, Eyk tracking specialists will guide you through the process, answering your questions and helping you get the most value out of your new tracking setup as soon as possible.

Integrated Stape hosting

Recently, we released a fully automated integration with Stape, one of the leading providers of server-side tracking container hosting.

As you walk through the tracking setup flow, Eyk does all the rest, setting you up with a fully hosted setup and maximum performance within GDPR regulations.
Additionally, as part of our partnership with Stape, Eyk users get all available 'power-ups' running on their setup which leads to increase tracking performance and attribution insight.
Any Stape costs are integrated in your Eyk subscription fee.

Tracking add-ons for increased performance

Once your new server-side tracking setup is live, you can manage and monitor your setup under the 'tracking' tab in Eyk.
Additionally, in partnership with Flowboost, Eyk now offers tracking add-ons to help boost tracking performance, implement custom events or connect to additional conversion api's.

Tracking Performance

Our recently released tracking performance dashboard not only makes tracking tangible for Eyk users, it also provides a powerful way to monitor what's happening on your website and store intra-day, as this dashbaord fetches the latest data every 30 minutes. Perfect for those days in the year where you want to monitor traffic and order intake closely and act immediately if necessary.

Attribution

With your new server-side tracking setup live and your conversion api's connected, the tracking part of your Eyk onboarding is now finalised. But this is only where the fun starts!
Eyk automatically pulls your server-side measured events into your dedicated Bigquery and stitches customer touchpoints to order data from your backend (Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce).
Then, Eyk allows you to choose the attribution model you want to apply to your first-party dataset and you can switch realtime to see the effect of different options.
Additionally, you are now being presented with alternative, more factual metrics like ROAS, CPA, Clicks and Impressions.
